SpyZooka – Spyware Removal Program
SpyZooka is a program created by a system’s developer named Carl Haugen when he received a file on his computer and could not dispose of it, it turned out to be spyware. He found a way to get rid of it and a short time later founded Blue Penguin Software. Now days, Blue Penguin Software offer a 100% guarantee on their software, so I have to check it out.
SpyZooka comes in a 2.1Mb file. It has a 15 day free trial and costs $29.95 to buy. SpyZooka has several great features, the main selling points are that it has got a 100% guarantee that it will get rid of all the spyware on your computer and prevent you from becoming re-infected, it performs a full scan of your computer right after you install it, it has a guard feature (prevents re-infection), real customer support, BBB member, and it is highly awarded. So, the 100% guarantee that it will sanitize all of your spyware infections (and they back it up) has to be a sham, but I tested it (I had fun browsing some websites) and my computer was free of spyware afterwards, so I suppose that SpyZooka passed that test, I also made sure to run a full update before I scanned because what is the use of running a scan with spyware signatures that are really out of date? The interface is nice, simple, and quick to use. I am not one for wasting time, so I was happy to see neither is the interface.
Now, the last three points (real customer support, BBB member, lots of awards) are important for several reasons, most notably, with all these software publishers shoving their programs out onto the open market, it is reassuring to know that SpyZooka and its parent company, Blue Penguin Software are legitimate. I believe it is because of this reliability and matter of fact-ness about their operations that it is no surprise they have won so many awards, when I went looking for more sources of information on SpyZooka I could not help to notice how many times the word “awards” came up! Well, what I can read is that they have won five cows from Tucows, they have been awarded the five star pick from the editor of 5StarShare.com, five of five Stars from SharewareRiver.com, and five stars from downloads3000.com. The last major selling point (in my opinion) is that they have real humans running their technical support. It is very very annoying (as you probably know) to be put into a call tree and “wait” for a long time, that is time wasted, no, Blue Penguin Software tries to make sure you get a human quickly, now that is customer service!
In closing, my dear readers, SpyZooka is a very nice and easy to use program with great support. When I used it, it was lovely, quick, and snappy. I hope to hear about more people using this remarkable software.
