• Double click on My Computer either on the desktop or on your start menu.
• Go up to Tools on the menu bar(File, Edit, View, Tools, Etc.).
• Click Folder Options.
• Click the Vew Tab.
• In the Advanced Settings section, click to clear the Use simple file sharing (Recommended) check box.
• Click Ok

That is it!  You are done!  Now you are safe from random people getting in your computer on your guest account on your Windows XP machine and finding your information.
